No I have no idea why this "sony.exe" is on all Storm Worm sites, and to be honest I haven't looked into this either. Are you sure it is always present? I may in the near future modify my binary tracker code to test for it's presence as well just to verify what you are saying, as this is an interesting discovery if it holds true.
